Yesterday I baked some blueberry muffins, but they had embarked on their journey down some people's gut, before i even had the chance to take their pics huu. I'll share the recipe nevertheless:
70g butter
60g sugar
1 egg
2-3 drops of vanilla essence
4 tablespoon milk
100g flour
1 tbsp baking powder
blueberry jam
So how to bake?
1. Beat the butter & sugar until creamy
2. Mix all the dry ingredients, stir well
3. Pour no 2 into no 1
4. Finally, put the batter into muffin cups, 2/3 of the cup. Don't forget the blueberry filling!
As for the dadih,
Ingredients:
2L of milk
2L of water
11gm of dry agar2
Sugar
Add all the ingredients, heat using low fire, add in emulco ( I used strawberry emulco, cocoa & vanilla essence),
pour into plastic cups, and put them in the fridge :)

Bread bowl
Monday, January 12, 2009
To make the dough (2 servings)
INGREDIENTS
40 ml water (70 to 80 degrees F)
80 ml warm milk (70 to 80 degrees F)
9 g butter, softened
8 g sugar
3 g salt
165 g all-purpose flour
5 g active dry yeast
5 g bread softener
Add the yeast and sugar into warm milk, left it for a while until it becomes bubbly and frothy (mcm urine of nephrotic syndrome patient?? huu. nope, like the saliva of a person having seizure instead!)
Then put the rest of dry ingredients into a bowl, mix well.
Add the mixture of milk, yeast and sugar into the dry ingredients. Finally ad in water and kenad till the dough becomes doughy and stretchy!
As usual, leave it for a while until it doubles in size. Knead it again, divide it into 2 part, and turn each part into a ball (the sahape of your preferred bowl), let it rise again. Bake in the oven 175 degree celcius, 20 mins
This is the over-baked bread HAHAHA because I didn't put the timer on since I
wanted to continue baking the pizza after that, but in the end i forgot to take it out,
in the buziness of putting up my wallpaper border...
Now it is ready, I cut the top (the lid off!! :p), and I'm going to take out the bulk of the bread ( korek dalam dia k)
Put the mushroom soup in it!

Boycott Pizza Hut??
First, to prepare the dough, you need:
2 cups of plain flour
2 tbsp dried yeast
1 tsp bread improver
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
4 tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup ice-cold water
How? Mix all the dry ingredients well. Then add in the olive oil into the mixer, finally ad in water to make a dough. Knead it!! Hehe as for this part, i leave it to the bread mixer for 1/2 jam to make a very soft pizza bread. How to make sure enough kneading has been done? Check whether the dough is stretchy or not. If yes, then it is done.
Leave the dough in a warm place until it has double in size (usually 30mins). After that knead the dough a little bit again, use a rolling pin to flatten it into a rounded or oval shape (or any shape that you want for your pizza!), make sure it is very flattened (around 0.5-1cm thick) beacuse you are going to let it rise to double again!!
Meanwhile, prepare the pizza sauce and fillings. As for the sauce, you can just use tomato puree + black pepper. Should be enough :)
As for the fillings, put anything that you want!! For this pizza (12th January 2009), i put in crabsticks, sausage, green capsicum, pineapple cubes, tomato slices and onion slices. It tasted like hawaiian pizza of Pizza Hut by the way- most probably due to the pineapple cubes + crabsticks
Don't forget lots and lots of cheese!!! I just use cheddar instead of parmesan, it is sure cheaper!! hehe
Now the dough is ready, sprinkle some herbs on it. I usually use oregano + rosemary. They are widely available in the stores- McCormick, sold in small glass bottles
Finally put the pizza sauce on the dough, then throw in all the fillings, and top them with shredded cheese. Bake in the oven 175 degree celcius for 20 mins. Yummmy a very tasty pizza :)
Since boycott is a much preferred way for the Muslim to fight the Israel.. Pizza Hut is one of the outlet which should be boycotted. Hmm a big change for me as I was an avid fan of it!! Huu~
So I have no choice other than to bake my own pizza whenever I feel like eating it. For those who want to have the recipe, here goes...
