Cinnamon Roll

Yesterday when I went out in the evening, I smelled cinnamon being baked (by one of our neighbours) I was fasting some more, and said to abang, "Abang, sedapnya bau cinnamon ni, sapela yang masak ni..."

Motivated by that, today I was determined to make cinnamon roll haha. So here's the recipe:

5 cups flour (all purpose)
10g dried yeast
1/2 cup sugar
A pinch of salt
2 large eggs
50g butter
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk (5 tablespoon of milk powder + 1 cup warm water. I didn't use all the milk actually, just nice to produce a soft dough)

Mix all the ingredients and knead until the dough becomes stretchy! That simple haha. Let the dough rise until almost double. Then knead again.

Then roll and stretch the dough until it become about 1/2 inch thick, rectangular in shape. Then brush melted butter on the upper surface, and sprinkle ground cinnamon.

Roll the dough (like rolling a swiss roll). Then, cut the roll into approximately 1.5 inch wide. Arrange on a baking tray and let it rise in a warm place. Bake at 180 degree celcius, abut 20 minutes
